The event will explore whistleblowing in the financial sector, EU rules, best practices, confidentiality, anonymity and rewards. Abstract: You are cordially invited to the presentation of Dr. Kafteranis’ book on “Whistleblowing in the EU Banking and Financial Sector” published by Hart Publishing (July 2026). Dr. Kafteranis will talk about the sectoral whistleblowing provisions on whistleblowing in the banking and financial sector, the EU Directive on the protection of whistleblowers and relevant international and national best practices. He will also address the issues of confidentiality, anonymity and financial rewards. Dr Dimitrios Kafteranis is Associate Professor in Law at the Centre for resilient business and society at Coventry University and the co-founder of the European Whistleblowing Institute.
