The U.S. Embassy Riga, in partnership with the American Film Showcase, USC School of Cinematic Arts, and Kino Kults, is proud to announce a series of movie screenings celebrating #Freedom250 through the universal language of film. This initiative brings the very best of American cinematic excellence to audiences across Latvia — in Riga, Valmiera, Ventspils, Daugavpils, and Liepāja — reaffirming the deep and enduring cultural ties between the United States and Latvia. The first screening, in Riga on Friday, September 25 at 18:00, Forum Cinemas Auditorium 11 will feature E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Admission is free, but RSVP is required to attend.
