Aakash Mehta: THE WEDDING SHOW - Stray Cat Comedy x Backspace Special!

Your comedian next door Aakash Mehta brings you yet another stand up comedy show involving spies, millionaires and a big fat indian wedding! Aakash Mehta: The Wedding Show Aakash Mehta is a Mumbai-based comedian, actor and writer. He has been doing comedy for about 12 years, has toured across India, and has played international shows in Australia, the UK, Canada and Dubai. He's also known for being the only comedian on Netflix's Social Currency, where he left with a Rs 50 lakh prize. Before that, he put out specials on YouTube, including No Smoking (March 2023) and Nasty (July 2023). Nasty tackles the taboo topics Indian society avoids discussing. The Wedding Show is his latest touring show. It's billed as TWO full hours of stand-up involving spies, millionaires and a big fat Indian wedding. That's a looser, more story-driven premise than the straight joke compilations he's done before. He's said his comedy has become less angry in recent years, and that marriage and therapy may have changed his writing, and audiences now expect more than profanity and shock value. A wedding-themed show fits that shift.
