In Resonance: The Student Edition

Different voices. Different stories. One evening of music. What happens when aspiring singers step into the spotlight and share the music that moves them? In Resonance: The Student Edition celebrates the musical journeys of students of The ROS Singers — Singapore’s professional a cappella choral ensemble and the nation’s first charitable organisation helmed by a professional choral ensemble. Featuring 15 solo performances, the recital brings together a vibrant mix of musical theatre favourites, contemporary pop, and classical vocal repertoire. From the heartfelt vulnerability of She Used to Be Mine and the soaring optimism of A Million Dreams to the timeless elegance of Quando m’en vo and the sacred beauty of How Lovely Are Thy Dwellings, the programme spans musical styles, eras, and emotions. Each performance represents more than a song learned or a note perfected. It reflects hours of dedication, the courage to perform, and the ongoing discovery of each singer’s unique voice and artistic identity. Guided by their mentors and accompanied by collaborative pianist Matthew Mak, our students take the stage to share their growth, individuality, and love of music. More than a recital, this is a celebration of vocal talent, musical discovery, and the confidence that grows when we dare to be heard. Whether you are cheering on a loved one or simply looking for an evening of beautiful and diverse vocal music, join us in celebrating the next generation of singers. In Resonance: The Student Edition is presented by Resonance of Singapore Ltd.
