This October, we follow Burgundy's influence past its borders. The evening starts on the Côte d'Or itself and moves south to the ancient monastic vineyards of the Mâconnais. From there it crosses east to the white marls of the Jura and finishes over the Rhine in Baden, where two Germans trained in Beaune now make Pinot on their own hillsides. Five growers took five different paths, but all are grounded in the same limestone and the same idea: let the site speak first. What We’re Pouring Twenty-one wines from five producers, each connected to Burgundy by where they grew up, what they studied or how they farm.
