WSQ Respond to Fire Emergency in Building (2 Days). This is part of the CERT training for ERT and SIC in the Tier 2 or Tier 1-HRI premises. WSQ Respond to Fire Emergency in Building (2 Days) [20 CPD Points] Course Code: PI-CP-103E-1; Course Reference Number: TGS-2014500113 Course Overview (Recommended Emergency Response Course by SCDF for Tier 2 Premises with P&FM storage licence < 5MT or Tier 1 HRI premises On completion of this unit, the learner will have the knowledge and be equipped with the application skills to function as a member of an emergency response team in order to implement the emergency response skills during an emergency incident in buildings. This includes: • Interpret emergency response legislations and guidelines • Identify fire hazard scenarios and usage of fire protection system in buildings • Demonstrate use of breathing apparatus according to BA wearer guidelines and entrapment procedures • Assess the emergency situation and conduct firefighting to contain fire in high rise buildings • Participate in rescue and evacuation exercise • Handover incident and provide operational assistance to the appropriate body Target Audience This course aims to provide Company Emergency Response Teams (CERT) from commercial, industrial buildings who are the first responders for incidents in their respective premises. Persons who wants to be recognised as the competent person applying the emergency response skills during an emergency incident in buildings. (Public and industrial buildings with < 5 MT petroleum and flammable materials). Course Duration: 2 Days (16 hours) Course Assessment: Practical Performance and Written Test Certification: - WSQ Statement of Attainment from SSG (Skillsfuture Singapore) upon completion course completion and assessment - 20 CPD points awarded by SCDF Pre-requisites: Participants must be medically fit before attending this course due to the physical nature of this course. A medical declaration form will be sent to the participants upon registration.
