09/23 Road to Race Day | Tempo Run

The session will be guided throughout, with runners encouraged to work at an effort that is challenging but controlled. Whether you’re building towards race day or simply looking to develop your running, come ready to put in the work. Event Details Date: Wednesday, 23 September 2026 Time: 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM Meeting Point: Arena MBSJ (Second football team bench along the track) Session: Tempo Run Session Format • 2km easy warm-up • 3 × 10 minutes at tempo effort • 2 minutes easy jog recovery between each effort • 10 minutes easy cool-down jog Tempo effort: A comfortably hard pace (approximately 7–8/10 effort) where you can speak in short phrases, but not hold a full conversation. Good to Know • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the session for registration and briefing. • No bag drop will be available. Please travel light. • This session does not include an On shoe trial. • Please bring your own water bottle.
