Rethinking Education in the Age of AI: Building Better Thinkers, Not Faster Answers A student can now produce a polished essay in seconds. So how do we know they have learnt anything? This is not a panel about AI tools. It is a conversation about the core job of education: teaching young people how to think. A school principal, a classroom teacher and a learning designer share what they are seeing on the ground, and what we can start changing tomorrow. Designs learning products, including SPM-related work, that help students understand rather than simply perform. Part of the National AI Builders Programme 2026This panel is part of NAIBP, a nationwide initiative by PivotLab that helps Malaysian secondary school students move from using AI to building with it. Around 460 students and 70 teachers took part in this year's regional workshops. The panel and Finals are free to attend.
