Rotterdam - People Planet Pint™: Sustainability Meetup

A better future is possible today, and it starts at your local pub! Venue details - we'll be moving around over the next few months! September: Bar Restaurant Sijf October: Cafe in the City November: Bar Panenka December: Bar Break Do you wish trains were cheaper, there were more trees on your street, and more solar panels over local car parks? Are you frustrated that with increasingly wild weather people are still paving over nature, and you’re left feeling like the only one who cares in your friends WhatsApp group? You're not alone! You've just been in the wrong room. People Planet Pint is your local sustainability meetup - no pitches, no presentations, no panels. Just like-minded people talking about the planet over a pint (or two). You don't need to be a sustainability professional. You don't need to know what "Scope 3" means (most people don't!). If you’re curious about what’s going on locally and feel that a better future is possible - come along to meet others like you and chat about what’s going on locally, how to get involved and what solutions are out there. Come for conversations with real people - it’s a space to swap ideas, find opportunities, get things off your chest or just sit back and listen. You'll leave with practical ways to get involved and leave a lot more optimistic about the future! Get a taste for what it feels like with our video here. Every job is a climate job, so come along to ask the questions you've been too afraid to ask, and finally meet people who actually get it. Everyone is welcome, whatever your experience or background. A better future is possible now. And it starts at your local pub, with a pint in hand. So, got a free evening? Come find your people. Your Volunteer Hosts Caitlyn Socwell Krystal: Our People Planet Pint Movement Sponsors KRYSTAL are an award-winning, 100% renewably powered hosting provider, with datacentres in the UK, US, & Europe. They are climate positive, and their approach centres on value, quality and transparency. We are delighted to announce our partnership with Krystal (the UK's only B Corp web hosting/cloud provider), and welcome them on board as sponsors of the People, Planet, Pint events. This means the first 10 drinks are on Krystal at every event, and has allowed us to invest and upscale the series to accelerate action on climate change. We host the UK's fastest-growing sustainability meet-ups, People Planet Pint and People Planet Pastry, which now take place in over 140+ cities across 15 countries, with around 80 events a month. We’re also breaking the mold of traditional sustainability training by empowering teams with the confidence and ownership over positive actions they can take with in person experiences. Since 2023, we have directly trained over 3,000 businesses on Net Zero and carbon reduction and have reached over 50,000 businesses with our events and digital tools.
