Riso Cards Workshop

A festive, risograph workshop where you’ll design, prepare, and print your own two-color holiday postcards. Riso Cards Workshop Join us for a collaborative riso workshop to design and print your very own set of Risoprinted postcards! You’ll learn how to operate a two-color A3 Risograph, experiment with layering colors and print a collection of festive postcards, to send or gift, perfect for the holiday season. This 4-hour workshop is taught in English. We’ll start with coffee, tea, and a brief introduction to Risograph basics. The group will then choose a two-color palette for printing. You’ll have one hour of supported creative time to refine your design before we print and cut your postcards. The workshop fee includes 10 copies of your postcard design (A6 sized) and one copy of each design created by the rest of the group (up to a maximum of 11 additional postcards), all printed with 2 riso colors on high quality Biotop 200gr paper. The two riso colors will be chosen collectively at the beginning of the workshop. IMPORTANT NOTE This course covers both file preparation and Riso operational techniques. But it’s essential that you bring a draft design to work on, creating this may take a couple of hours. Check your order confirmation email for detailed guidance. Make sure to bring your digital file and a laptop with Adobe Photoshop/Adobe illustrator installed. After signing up, you’ll receive an email with tips and instructions to start designing your holiday card.
