Liberating Structures Meetup: Wise Crowds

Join our in-person meetup to experience Wise Crowds in action, practice it yourself, and pick up practical facilitation tweaks. Liberating Structures, created by Henri Lipmanowicz and Keith McCandless, offer a fresh, practical way to collaborate. These 33 simple microstructures help any group unlock the insights and contributions of everyone involved. In this hands-on meetup, you’ll experience how they bring energy, trust, and collective intelligence to life. Topic of this meetup During this meetup, we’ll explore Wise Crowds. This Liberating Structure helps people tap into a group's collective wisdom to tackle real challenges, explore possibilities, and discover new approaches. One participant presents a challenge they’re facing and asks the group for help. After a few clarifying questions, the consultants share their ideas, experiences, and advice while the person seeking help simply listens. It's a powerful way to gain fresh perspectives, uncover possibilities, and help each other make progress on real challenges. What to expect • Practice the original Wise Crowds steps. • Try out different tweaks and variations. • Learn how to combine it with other Liberating Structures. • Exchange experiences, ideas, and insights with others. • As a bonus, we'll use other LS to explore Wise Crowds. Who should attend This meetup is open to everyone — no prior experience is required. Whether you’re just discovering Liberating Structures or looking for new inspiration as a seasoned practitioner, you’re very welcome.
