GAMEHEARTS: GAMES, HERITAGE, ARTS & CULTURAL COLLABORATION

A fun hybrid celebration where games, heritage, and the arts bring cultures together. This day focuses on how games and the wider creative and cultural industries can work together to provide a sustainable future for both the video game sector and other cultural sectors. Join GAMEHEARTS on 19 November for the public conference day of their closing event, featuring a keynote speaker, research presentations on games and cultural collaboration, a panel discussion, a lunch and networking opportunity, and a playable demo of the resulting collaboration. GAMEHEARTS is a Horizon Europe funded research project exploring the economic, social, and cultural value of the European videogame industry ecosystem. The project brings together five European universities, cultural partners including the Imperial War Museums and the London Symphony Orchestra, plus industry partner Ubisoft. Whether you’re a game developer, studio, cultural organisation, policy maker, educator, researcher, or simply interested in how games and the wider culture industries can come together, this day is for you.
