Join us at ABC Amsterdam for a bimonthly book club featuring books Harry Styles loves. Join us in ABC Amsterdam for a new bimonthly Harry Styles-themed book club organized by Harry fan Alice! This month's book will be The Course of Love by Alain de Botton. Harry admitted himself he only got into reading because he didn’t want his literary genius girlfriend Camille to think he was “a dummy”. That was in 2017 and he hasn’t looked back. He has grown as a human and as an artist, and books are part of this. We want this for you too AND we want you to keep the Harry feeling all year round. You know the one… That feeling we shared in the ArenA where people are kind, you can be unapologetically yourself, the vibes are high because hearts are open. We want you to come as you are, be as you are, feel how you feel and experience the weightless air of being around others, who also want to: - Put their phones down - Dance (okay read, but you get the gist) with friends and strangers - Change their lives Just like Harry said in the concert. He got off his phone. He danced with friends and strangers, and he said it changed his life. And fun is guaranteed. That’s our mantra. “The goal of tonight is to have fun” – Harry Styles, Amsterdam Friday, 5 June. We will: - Treat people with kindness - Have things come up roses - Dance/read with friends and strangers - Respect our mothers - And maybe even get our tummies tickled…. Who knows what golden things can happen when a room of Harry fans get together together? What will actually happen when you come upstairs and sit at the table? You will be warmly welcomed by Alice and fellow Harry people. There will be drinks and snacks. We will begin with any Harry gossip we have heard lately. Alice will guide a fun conversation through the book. You can talk as much or as little as you like. This is about relaxing and enjoying, not performing. We will share something kind we each have the intention of doing before we next meet. And there will be details of next the book and meet. Tickets to this event are free. If you book a ticket and find you cannot make it after all please return your ticket so someone from the waitlist can join instead. About the organizer: Hello, I’m Alice. I live for the feeling Harry brings and I won’t stop until we all get to revel in it one book at a time! I’m a professional facilitator, fun expert and comms pro, so this book club is my IKIGAI. I’m not letting the fact I got my English major without having read any of the books hold me back. Currently listening to “Dance No More” on repeat. You?
