2026 Art Salon l Easy Going Oil Painting Workshop by Vjekoslav Nemesh

Enjoy a relaxed oil painting workshop with Vjekoslav Nemesh and explore creative techniques guided by over 35 years of experience. Unlocking the Artist Within - An oil painting workshop with Vjekoslav Nemesh Saturday 3 October | Saturday 31 October 12:00pm to 3:00pm After more than 40 years of painting, exhibiting, and teaching, I have developed a series of oil painting workshops designed to welcome everyone, from absolute beginners picking up a brush for the first time, to professional artists wanting to experiment with oils, to experienced painters seeking to loosen up and explore new creative directions. This workshop is not about rigid rules. It is about discovery, confidence, and expression. My approach encourages participants to work intuitively and courageously, experiment freely with oil paint, build confidence regardless of skill level - let go of perfection and embrace process. Oil painting is a rich, forgiving medium that allows depth, texture, and emotion. Through guided demonstrations and individual support, participants will learn how to handle oils with confidence while developing their own artistic voice. By the end of the workshop, each participant will complete at least one finished oil painting per day, often two, regardless of prior experience. Workshop Fee: $175 per person, per session All material for the workshop is provided. 📍 Fo Guang Yuan Art Gallery Auckland, Flat Bush 🕘 Gallery Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30am to 3pm
