Sharpen your woodworking and power tool skills while having a blast in this exciting 5 week program! Learn: Week 1 - 101 Power tools - sanders, drill, impact driver and jigsaw Week 2 - Electric plainer and thicknesser Week 3 - Drop saw Week 4 - Table saw We'll be working on lots of different projects and using lots of different hand/power tools. We recommend looking at plans from www.anawhite.com. Notes: • All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). Some work may be outdoors, please wear a sun hat and sunscreen if outdoors. • Wear closed toed shoes and old clothes appropriate for woodworking. • Children are not able to attend with parents due to health and safety requirements. • You need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class. • Bring a water bottle, snack and lunch for yourself • We charge extra for native wood from wk2-5. Pine is part of the cost.
