Casual First Date: An Improvised Comedy Show

The weird little improv darlings are back with an hour of comedy joy that gleefully collides the mundane and the strange! Casual First Date crack open true stories and put reassemble them into silly, snappy, and sometimes super-deep scenes, sketches and skits. Every show is different and can feature anything from talking fingers, polyamorous leprechauns, flirty toasters, star-crossed lovers and everything our performers can imagine. CFD have sold out shows across the motu on their mission to make your life a little stranger, one hour at a time. If you love improv but not audience interaction, no one is brought on stage; you just shout out a single word, and we'll build a whole universe for you from there! Bring your strangest friend and the friendliest stranger and get ready to see the wildest world you've ever seen inside a book store.
