Celebrating Cultures Pop Up: Tītī Tōrea

Experience the rhythm, teamwork, and fun of Tītī Tōrea, a traditional Māori stick game that combines movement, coordination, and waiata (song). Guided by experienced facilitators, you'll learn the basic patterns and techniques in this interactive cultural activity. Suitable for all ages and abilities, this hands-on session is a great way to connect with te ao Māori, build confidence, and enjoy a unique tradition that has been shared across generations. No experience is necessary, just come along and join in! The Pop-Up offers a unique opportunity to embrace our community’s rich cultural heritage through arts, culture, and connection.
