FLYTE

Acclaimed indie band Flyte bring their signature blend of heartfelt lyricism and melodic craftsmanship to a special run of New Zealand shows this November. Flyte have earned widespread acclaim for their refined songwriting and emotionally resonant sound, with a catalogue that showcases their evolution from classic British guitar pop to more expansive and introspective arrangements. Their releases have been celebrated for their lyrical honesty and rich harmonies, cementing their place as one of the UK’s most compelling contemporary bands. Formed in London, Flyte are led by singer-songwriters Will Taylor and Nick Hill, whose close creative partnership underpins the band’s distinctive identity. They broke through with their debut album The Loved Ones and continued to build momentum with subsequent records, including This Is Really Going to Hurt and Flyte, earning praise for their timeless influences and modern sensibility. Their work captures themes of love, vulnerability and connection, delivered with a stripped-back elegance and attention to detail that has resonated with audiences worldwide. For audiences in Aotearoa, these shows offer a rare opportunity to experience Flyte’s intimate and immersive live performance, bringing their finely crafted songs to life with warmth, precision and emotional depth.
