FREE Kayaking Adventure 🚣‍♀️🌊 Ready to get out on the water and try something new? Join the Auckland Council Outdoor Experience team for a fun, beginner-friendly kayaking experience. Whether it's your first time in a kayak or you're keen to build your confidence on the water, this session is a great way to get active, enjoy the outdoors, and see your local area from a different perspective. Led by experienced instructors, participants will learn basic paddling skills, water safety, and kayaking techniques while enjoying a safe and supportive environment. No previous experience is required, and all equipment is provided. We gratefully acknowledge Upper Harbour Local Board for their support in making this free event possible. Important Notes ➜ 🚸 Participants must be at least 7 years old to paddle independently. ➜ 👨‍👩‍👧 Children under 7 years old must be accompanied by an adult in a double kayak (limited availability). ➜ 🦺 All kayaking equipment, including life jackets and paddles, will be provided. ➜ ⏰ Sessions are very popular and often fully booked. Please arrive on time as late arrivals may forfeit their booking to waitlisted participants. ➜ ⚠️ Participants (or guardians) may be required to complete a risk acknowledgement before taking part. ➜ 🌧️ This activity is weather dependent and may be postponed, modified, or cancelled if conditions are unsuitable.
