Whether you’ve just planted your first fruit tree or want to refresh the basics, this two-hour introductory workshop will explore practical ways to care for your trees and the soil around them. Join Matthew for a short introduction followed by a practical demonstration using compost and mulch, with a biochar sample and discussion of where it may be useful. The session is designed for beginners and anyone wanting a refresher on fruit-tree health and soil care. Please bring / wear: • Sturdy closed-toe shoes with grip • Raincoat / sunhat • Drink bottle / snacks Tea / coffee provided
