NORTH SHORE HYROX EVENT FOR ADULTS AND KIDS! THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. ADULTS: We have full and half sim options as well for solos, pairs and teams. We've also kept the beginner level 'Ninja Division' for those that are new to HYROX and want to ‘give it a go’. KIDS: Under 5's - free fun run style event to let them be part of the action. Level 1 and 2 for 5-13 year olds, with age appropriate distances and weights. This event is to give our kids a chance to participate in a fun physical event. Level 1 = 5-9 year olds must be in a pair to share the station work AND have an adult with them to help navigate getting to each of the stations and ensure they get to the finish line and receive their medal. We have intentionally created a physically challenging race so we've made it a pairs only competition for 9 and unders to ensure they can complete it. We have recommended weights or body weight movements. However, we ask that the parents help guide or assist if the kids need to scale this. And if they need some help or even a piggy back - go for it :) Level 2 = 10-13 year olds Solos or Pairs There is no experience or special fitness level required. The focus is about taking on a challenge, finishing the race and proudly receiving their medal to celebrate their achievement. Also such a great chance for our Mums, Dads, Whanau and Friends to really hype up our kids and remind them that they are capable of doing hard things :) Please note : There are no podium places for our kids event.
