Make an "A" shape stool: Power Tools 101, The ReCreators Green Space, Tuesday 22 Sep 10am-2pm

Proudly brought to you by Auckland Council Waste Solutions! Learn the basics of power tools while creating your very own A-shape stool! In this practical workshop, you’ll gain confidence using tools like drills and sanders under expert guidance, while building a stylish A-shaped stool that’s both functional and unique. A great chance to learn some new skills, get creative and make something you’ll be proud to take home. All for just $30! There will be a health and safety briefing at the start of the workshop to inform participants of safety precautions before we begin using tools. Tools that will be covered in this workshop are: a power drill, and sander. All participants must wear covered shoes and non-flowing clothing (tight-ish!). You need to arrive at this workshop for the beginning of class and the health and safety briefing to be able to take part in the rest of the class.
