Whanaungatanga is at the heart of our workshop — a day of coming together, sharing stories, learning new skills, and enjoying the process of preparing kai together. On the day, you’ll be encouraged to get involved from beginning to end as we prepare our Oven Hāngi. Roll up your sleeves and join us as we peel and prepare our vegetables, prepare the meat, make our own stuffing, and share stories along the way. You will also learn how to make fried bread from start to finish — from mixing and preparing the dough through to frying and enjoying it fresh. We’ll even make our own butter to enjoy alongside our delicious bread. Seats are limited, so be sure to secure your place.
