FREE guided hikoi through the ngahere at different parks across Tamaki. Develop understanding of: • Native Plant identification and traditional uses • Seed dispersal differences – nature at work • Hika ahi (traditional fire making) • Tohu – environmental indicators • Taonga tuku iho – see taonga made from our native plant resources • Taonga Puoro – kōrero and demonstration IMPORTANT: The meeting point is on Eves Bush Parade, which is by the bridge going over the awa (stream).
