SAE STAR Courses OCTOBER 2026 : VIDEO / RADIO STAR

Join us for a weekend at SAE Auckland! Step into the role of Screen Producer, Songwriter, Music Producer or Audio Engineer and learn about your chosen discipline from real industry professionals! Level up your skills and discover new techniques, then end your weekend on an epic note with a finished project! VIDEO STAR for students interested in: Screen Production: Learn to express yourself through video! Write a scene, get hands-on with cameras, lights and industry-standard gear. Build a real film set and shoot your vision! Then dip your toes into editing and post-production to tell your story! RADIO STAR Disciplines will be spilt into groups on campus, for students interested in: Audio Production: Run a band recording session in a professional studio. Set up microphones, instruments and use post production techniques to create your sound! Music Production: Make a song in Logic or Ableton, from session setup to creating the beat, layering your arrangement and building the track. Songwriting: Write lyrics, figure out the harmony, and create a song that expresses you. Then record your music in a professional studio. Participant information: • Available to students Yr 11 to 13 • No experience required • Classes will be delivered by SAE Staff • Catering will be provided for all participants 📍 SAE Auckland Campus 18 Heather Street, Parnell, Auckland Radio and Video Star are two-day short courses running parallel at the same time: OCTOBER Intake 📅 Day 1: Saturday 3 October (10am to 3pm) 📅 Day 2: Sunday 4 October (10am to 3pm)
