School holiday- Kauri creation/Chopping board: Power Tools 101, The ReCreators Green Space, Tue 6 Oct, 10am-2pm

Brought to you by Auckland Council Waste Solutions! Create something useful these school holidays with our chopping board workshop! Tamariki will learn simple woodworkinre skills while shaping and sanding their very own board to take home. They’ll choose their piece of timber, design the shape and transform it into a smooth, ready-to-use board perfect for snacks, fruit or the kitchen. All skill levels are welcome. It’s a fun way to learn, create and make something they’ll be proud of. This workshop is suitable for ages 10+, Power tool use can be physically demanding over a three hour session, so a level of strength and maturity is needed to take part safely and confidently.
