School holiday - Make a bench: Power Tools 101, The ReCreators Green Space, Wed 30 Sep, 10am-4pm

Join The ReCreators for a fun session where rangatahi learn how to use power tools safely while creating a sturdy bench for indoors or outdoors. You’ll get friendly support, build confidence with real tools like drills, saws and sanders and finish the day with something you made yourself. Come dressed in covered shoes and comfy fitted clothes, bring some food and a drink bottle and be ready for a mix of indoor and outdoor creating. We’ll kick things off with a safety chat, go through tool basics and guide you through each step so you walk away with a bench you’re proud of. This class is strictly for ages 10+ as it requires a good level of maturity, focus and independence. If your child has any additional needs or requires extra support, please let us know beforehand as we may need to ask you to stay for the session. ❤️ When: Wed 30 Sep, 10am-4pm Where: The ReCreators Green Space, 135 Chamberlain Rd, Massey Important Notes • Parking: please note that we have parking available just inside the gate at Chamberlain Rd.
