ChristChurch Cathedral

Join NAWIC Canterbury for a unique opportunity to step inside ChristChurch Cathedral and learn more about one of the city’s most significant heritage buildings. Designed by renowned Gothic Revival architect Sir George Gilbert Scott, the cathedral is the only building in New Zealand designed by this celebrated British architect. With an expert guide, we’ll explore the cathedral’s interior, discover its fascinating history and gain insight into the complex reinstatement work underway to restore this iconic Christchurch landmark. Don’t miss this opportunity to go behind the scenes, learn more about the building’s heritage and hear about the challenges involved in bringing this historic structure back to life. After the site visit, join us at OGB for a drink and the chance to connect, network and catch up with fellow NAWIC members.
