Celebrate Dashain with Canterbury Nepalese Society Incorporated (CNS) at our Dashain Picnic 2026 at beautiful Orton Bradley Park. Join us on Sunday 18 October for a relaxed day with family, friends and our community. Enjoy delicious food, games and activities, music, beautiful scenery, and the warmth of celebrating Dashain together. To make the day easier for everyone, bus transport will be provided from a central pickup location to Orton Bradley Park, with further travel details shared with registered attendees. Tickets • Under 5 years — FREE • 5–12 years — $10 • Over 12 years — $35 This event is for CNS members only, and a valid CNS membership is required. Come along for a day away from the city, reconnect with friends and family, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate one of Nepal’s most meaningful festivals together.
