Led by our teaching master Dave Johnson in our new indoor home at 54 Hawdon St. (every Thursday 6.30-9pm) This 4-week course is for people who want to continue their journey towards becoming confident bike mechanics. Week 1: Bottom Brackets - crank removal + bearing assessment, maintenance & replacement Week 2: Hubs - bearing assessment, servicing, replacement & routine maintenance Week 3: Gears - clutch servicing, derailleur problem solving & general maintenance Week 4: Brakes - testing & assessing brake systems, brakeshoe assessment & replacement Classes are kept small and supported by a talented RAD assistant, so everyone gets plenty of attention and hands-on learning. Includes Attendance Certificate, Park Tools Manual highly recommended and available for purchase. BYO: own bike to learn on, keen mind and positive vibes!
