She Sharp & HCLTech: Do You Own Your AI Future?

Quick question "If you are using AI at work right now, do you know exactly where that data goes, who’s accountable for what it produces, and whose laws it sits under?" That gap is why HCLTech is proud to be sponsoring an event with SheSharp on Tuesday 3 November in Christchurch. The question we’re asking is a big one: Do you own our AI future? We’ll be looking at three things that matter to every organisation right now: • Security, so we can trust what we build. • Governance, so we know who’s accountable. • And Sovereignty, so we understand where our data lives and who controls it, which matters a lot for us here in New Zealand. And we have an outstanding line-up of lightning talks by: • Renu Sharma, the Cyber Security Woman of the Year winner at CyberSec Con. • Delphine Ducaruge, Chair of Tech New Zealand. • Grace de Leon, Smart City, AI and Innovation Lead at Christchurch City Council, and • Caelan Huntress, Leader in how to become a great AI operator. • And we’re hoping to be joined by Jane McGale, CTO of REANNZ. Each of them will give you five minutes of sharp, practical insight. We will have a brief panel discussion with questions from the audience and Dr Mahsa McCauley as the Moderator, then wrap up with focused breakout discussions with the speakers. Whether you lead a team, make decisions, or simply care about how AI shapes the way we work, you belong in this room. Come along, bring a colleague, and help shape the answer.
