Welcome to the New Normal

Welcome to the New Normal: How to thrive in a constantly changing world Interest rates went from a quarter of a percent to five and a half in eighteen months. A war on the other side of the world sent the diesel price through the roof within weeks. AI went from party trick to payroll in about two years. Nobody predicted any of it. Not the economists, not the banks, not the specialists paid to see it coming. And a general election lands on 7 November. Another thing you can't control, and another reason to be ready. Many owners respond by holding on. Costs stay tight and the next big move waits until things settle down. It's an understandable instinct. It can also be an expensive one, because things aren't going to settle. In one practical, plain-English hour, business coach Matt Fitzsimmons shows you what resilient businesses actually do to adapt, stay steady and keep growing, whatever comes next. It isn't about predicting what's coming. It's about building a business that doesn't need to. What we'll cover • Fixed centre. Name the few things you'd never trade away, so everything else can move fast without a meeting about who you are every time something changes. • Early sight. Change starts upstream, often months before it reaches you. One question catches it before it hits your bank balance, not weeks after. • Room to move. Seeing it coming is no use if you can't act. What decision speed, follow-through and financial slack look like in a business built to move. What you'll leave with Two practical tools. A forward indicator that moves before your revenue does. And a short growth meeting your team will actually keep running: twenty minutes, never missed, built on four questions. Who it's for Owners who've felt the last few years in their bones: rising costs, staff shortages, an economy that won't sit still. No jargon, no hype. Just an hour that pays for itself.
