Uretara Landing Planting

Uretara Landing Planting Join Renaturing Katikati for a community planting session as we complete the final stage of restoring this section of the Uretara Riverbank. About the event Help plant around 300 native grasses to finish the restoration work that began last year. It’s a great opportunity to get outdoors, lend a hand and help care for our local environment. After the planting, stick around for morning tea and a chance to chat with other volunteers. Event details Date: Wednesday, September 16th Time: 9am-10.30am Location: Uretara Landing Reserve, Katikati Cost: Free Parking is available on Noble Johnson Drive. What to bring • Sturdy footwear • Clothes suitable for outdoor work • Water bottle • Sun protection and clothing suitable for changeable weather Morning tea will be provided after the planting.
