The Candid Club KATSEYE Dance Camp is a 6-week dance program led by Coach Owen Baisa, built for anyone who wants to properly learn a KATSEYE choreography while working on the technique behind it. We’ll meet once a week every Friday, 7-9PM, building the routine gradually across the camp. Sessions will cover choreography, foundations, musicality, movement quality, performance, formations, and camera work. The goal is to give you enough time to learn, drill, clean, and get comfortable with the choreography instead of trying to cram everything into a single class. For the last session, we’re taking everything we’ve worked on and filming a KATSEYE-inspired music video together. What’s Included 6 dance camp sessions Weekly training with Owen Baisa Dance foundations and technique KATSEYE choreography Musicality and movement quality Choreography cleaning and refinement Performance and facial expression training Formation and spacing practice Camera and performance preparation Final music video shoot Edited group music video What We’ll Work On Technique & FoundationsBody control, coordination, grooves, lines, weight transfers, and the foundations you’ll need for the choreography. ChoreographyLearning the routine section by section, with enough time to understand the details rather than memorizing steps and calling it a day. MusicalityTiming, textures, accents, and learning how to move with the music instead of chasing the counts. CleaningGoing back through the choreography to work on timing, angles, transitions, synchronization, and details. PerformanceEnergy, confidence, facial expressions, dynamics, and learning how to make the choreography feel like a performance. Camera WorkFormations, spacing, transitions, performance for camera, and preparing the full routine for filming.
