Brunch, Curator-led Tour, Finissage – Artist: Vica Pacheco

During Lisbon Art Weekend, the gallery presents a solo exhibition by Mexican artist Vica Pacheco (1993, Oaxaca), “I See Darkness, I Hear Light.” On the 7th, the exhibition’s finissage takes place, conceived as a closing moment that deepens and reactivates the central themes of the project. The exhibition explores the relationship between sensory perception, matter, and immaterial phenomena through a series of ceramic sculptures that exist between sculptural objects and sound devices. The works, characterized by organic forms and a strong attention to tactility, suggest a constant tension between the visible and the invisible, between light and darkness, inviting an experience that engages both sight and listening.
