Drawing, Plants & Experimentation. Carolina Maria x Levö

In this hands-on drawing workshop, we’ll explore flowers, leaves, seeds and other small plant forms through a series of playful experiments. Working with simple materials — wax crayons and paper — we’ll use line, shape, texture, repetition, tracing and observation to discover different ways of seeing and drawing. The workshop is an invitation to slow down, look closely and let go of the pressure to make a perfect drawing. Through a series of short exercises, we’ll try drawing with different rhythms, from quick gestures to more attentive observation, and experiment with what happens when we change the way we use our hands, our eyes and the page. Each part of the workshop opens into a freer exercise, where the different discoveries and experiments can come together in a final piece. No previous drawing experience is needed — just curiosity, an openness to experiment, and a willingness to see plants a little differently. For ages 12+.
