Let's Talk Neurodiversity 2026

Join us in an open conversation about neurodiversity, disclosure & teams with room for different minds. Mindera Foundation Romania invites you to the third edition of Let's Talk Neurodiversity: an evening about minds that work differently and about adapting the work environment. This year's theme is wellbeing and disclosure. What happens when you tell people at work that you're neurodivergent? And what happens when you don't? We'll talk about both choices, and about what a team can do so people feel well either way. Speakers Prof. dr. Petru L. Curșeu is a professor at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, and Open Universiteit, the Netherlands. His research covers team dynamics, social cognition (in particular stereotypes and prejudice at work), multiparty collaboration and decision-making in organisations. Neurodiversity as paradox: different minds, shared struggles. Different minds can bring creativity, innovation and better team performance. Yet they often come with stress and exclusion. Drawing on recent research, he looks at disclosure at work and at what neuroinclusive workplaces do differently. Nicoleta Niste has led the Autism Transilvania Association since 2009, an accredited social services provider for autistic children and young people in Cluj. From school to work: disclosure, hiring and what HR can do. She speaks as a parent and as head of the association. Her talk covers: • the difference between neurodiversity and neurodivergence • the disclosure dilemma from the candidate's side • what HR can do whether or not someone discloses • what the law gets right, and where it falls short Real stories.
