Every session is hosted by a different guest teacher, maker or expert, someone with a particular skill, obsession or way of seeing the world. Together, we dig into traditional craftsmanship, analogue navigation, natural materials and the many clever ways humans have learned to work with the outdoors. What can a piece of wood teach us? How do you find your way when there is no signal, only a map, a compass and the landscape around you? What makes a material worth carrying into the wild? Some sessions are about making. Some are about knowing. Some might leave you with something in your hands, others with a new way of looking at the world. The workshops are deliberately varied and open-ended. Each guest shapes their own session, sharing knowledge through stories, demonstrations and hands-on making. No two sessions are quite the same. With only 10 members per session, the format stays small, personal and curious, a chance to get close to the craft, ask questions, try things out and learn directly from someone who knows their subject deeply.
