Visual facilitation is the process of identifying, expressing, moving ideas and conversations forward using visual tools, models, and method Art of Awakening - Visual Facilitation Lab (Singapore) - AUGUST 2026 • OCT 2022 - SOLD OUT • D EC 2022 - SOLD OUT • M AR 2023 - SOLD OUT • A UG 2023 - SOLD OUT • DEC 2023 - SOLD OUT • APR 2024 - SOLD OUT • AUG 2024 - SOLD OUT • JAN 2025 - SOLD OUT • AUG 2025 - SOLD OUT • JAN 2026 - SOLD OUT Make thinking visible. 2 days for people who help other people think. What if you could walk into your next workshop, meeting or learning session with one more powerful tool in your facilitation toolkit? A marker. Visual facilitation isn't about being an artist. It's about learning to listen differently, see connections, simplify complexity and make people's thinking visible. In the Visual Facilitation Lab, you'll learn how to use simple words, shapes, images, colour, layout and visual frameworks to support real conversations. You'll learn to: • turn ideas and conversations into clear visual structures • create hand-drawn visual flipcharts and posters • use visual metaphors to make complex ideas easier to see • capture and synthesize what's emerging in a room • design visual activities that help groups think together • use visuals to support participation, alignment and decision-making • become more confident drawing live, in front of other people And no — you don't need to know how to draw. You need curiosity, a willingness to experiment, and a marker in your hand. Why visual facilitation now? We're surrounded by digital tools that can generate images, slides and information almost instantly. But a human visualizer can do something different. Listen. Notice. Interpret. Connect. Ask. Draw. And help a group see what it is thinking. That's the human side of visual intelligence. Who is this for? VFL is particularly useful for people who already work with groups: Facilitators · Trainers · L&D professionals · Coaches · UX & service designers · Consultants · Educators · Change practitioners · Team leaders · Innovation practitioners If your work involves helping people understand, collaborate, learn, solve problems or make decisions, visual facilitation gives you another way to do it. And there's a professional advantage. A facilitator who can make thinking visible can create a very different experience from one who simply presents information. Imagine walking into a workshop with hand-drawn visual frameworks already on the wall. Imagine being able to capture a participant's idea visually while the conversation is happening. Imagine turning a complex discussion into something everyone can see, discuss and build on. The visual becomes part of the experience — not decoration around it. Two days. Lots of practice. A marker in your hand. You'll learn the foundations, practise the skills, experiment with different visual approaches and receive feedback along the way. You won't leave as an artist. You'll leave with a new visual language — and a new way of working with people.
