Join award-winning lens-based artist and AI expert Boris Eldagsen for the provocative keynote, RIVALS – Photography vs. Promptography. Moving beyond binary debates about replacement, Eldagsen explores the fundamental differences in how photography and AI-generated images construct meaning. Through insights from his RIVALS and PSYCHOPOMP! exhibitions, he identifies the unique strengths, limitations, and responsibilities inherent to both media. This session provides a vital conceptual toolbox for navigating a visual landscape where appearances can no longer be trusted.
