SUBWAY at the Subway 2026/09/23

Join us to deliver fresh meals to the unhoused community while making meaningful connections and building relationships. Sponsored by SUBWAY Every night of the year, there are over 200 people who sleep on cardboard boxes and sleeping mats outside of Taipei Main Station. Most of these people are elderly, with over 50% over the age of 65. Through SALT's programs, we provide nutritious meals and essential supplies to the unhoused community on a consistent, monthly basis, while involving volunteers and local partners to go deeper in building relationships with the homeless community. SALT n' SUBWAY at the Subway is a SALT program sponsored by SUBWAY Taiwan to deliver freshly-made sadwhiches to members of the unhoused community. We believe that by building connections, growing trust and understanding people's struggles we can offer long-term solutions to many of the issues confronting people experiencing homelessness.
