Covenhoven - live at Tall Timbers

Covenhoven is internationally recognized indie artist Joel Van Horne, a multi-instrumental singer-songwriter whose rich harmonies, reedy baritone and commanding falsetto have found a home with critics and fans since 2013. Through 5 full length albums and 3 EPs, Covenhoven has forged a signature style; layered acoustic arrangements that roll with momentum into orchestral peaks, accompanied by lyrics that contrast hard-won wisdom with the inherent hope of the natural world- from Big Sur to his native Colorado. The Lowlies are Caleb and Carolyn Spaulding, a husband-and-wife folk duo from Springville, New York. After a punishing 2015 tour convinced them to walk away from music, they spent years raising kids in a cabin Caleb built - Caleb working as a carpenter, Carolyn in a bakery - writing quietly at night with no plans to release anything. Those home demos found their way to producer Tyler Chester, who brought them to Sonic Ranch to cut their self-titled debut, released on Airloom in 2023. Donations will be taken at the concert.
