Discover the Art of making French Croissants with Triskell Bakery

Triskell Bakery's Discovering the Art of making French Croissants: Join us for a three hour class to learn how to make authentic French croissants from scratch. Alain Marec, your instructor and founder of Triskell Bakery, is a French-born food scientist and home baker who will teach you how to create authentic French croissants and delicious pains au chocolat. During the class, you will create your own croissants and practice every steps including: making the détrempe (croissant dough) and beurre de tourage (butter block), laminating the dough, learning and practicing the folding techniques, dividing the dough and shaping and baking your croissants at home. While the process is 2 days long, Alain will start ahead of time so that we are able to explore and practice every step during the class Students will go home with: • A small box of croissants and pains au chocolat baked during the class. • 1/2 dozen croissants and pains au chocolat that they will have personally shaped during the class to bake at home the next day. • A hand out of the presentation given in class and your instructor's contact information for troubleshooting. • A new hobby and bragging rights…. Cancellation policy: You can get a refund (minus the Humanitix ticketing fees) up to 14 days before the event. Cancellations with less than two weeks from the date of the class will only be rescheduled /refunded for a later date if we can reschedule the class. If you wish to cancel the class, please contact us as soon as possible. Ticket holders are welcome to transfer their class to another guest ( in that case, please provide Triskell with the name and contact information of new ticket holder so we can reach out to them).
