January Book Club: Theo of Golden by Allen Levi

Join us for cocktails, mocktails, wine & a discussion on Theo of Golden at the 1811 Bar Room in Brecksville! Start the new year with a story about generosity, connection, and the impact one person can make. Join Amanda, Michael & MB at the 1811 Shop & Bar Room for our first book club meetup of 2027! We’ll discuss Theo of Golden by Allen Levi, a novel about an enigmatic stranger whose quiet acts of generosity transform a small Southern community. We’re also creating a special cocktail inspired by the book, available for purchase alongside our regular drinks and small bites. Monday, January 25, 2027 · 7 p.m. 1811 Shop & Bar Room 7730 Chippewa Road · Brecksville, Ohio Seating begins at 6:30 p.m. Come early to order a drink, browse the shop, and get settled. Whether you’re a regular or joining us for the first time, you’re welcome! Please register through Eventbrite so we can plan seating. Our intimate Bar Room has limited space, and book club sells out. If your plans change, please cancel your registration or let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your seat to someone on the waitlist. The Shop & Bar Room stays open until 10 p.m., so you’re welcome to linger after the discussion. We look forward to a new year of good books and great conversation with you!
