Kids Doing Comedy

Kids Doing Comedy is a great way to support young talent and enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment! Join Canton Comedy Boom on Sunday, December 13th for Kids Doing Comedy! This talented group of kids, aged 4-12, will take the stage to deliver stand-up, funny stories, and sketch comedy! This is the tenth time CCB has hosted Kids Doing Comedy, and the kids have been hard at work writing new material and rehearsing new sketches in our workshops. They’re so excited to take the stage again. Thanks to a generous grant from ArtsinStark, we are able to offer workshops, performance showcases, and a Kids Doing Comedy Tour at local senior living facilities to continue for the next year. We couldn't be more grateful, because it will allow us to expand the program beyond what we could do alone. We are so excited to invite experienced theater, improv, and stand-up instructors to share their expertise with the next generation of comedy stars! Our workshops are offered at no cost to parents thanks to ArtsinStark. There’s no pressure to perform, kids are welcome to attend the workshops without committing to performing on the day of the show. If you have a theater kid who loves to make a room laugh, this is a unique opportunity for them to experiment with both theater and comedy in a safe and supportive environment. Email [email protected] if interested in registering your young comedian for the workshops and/or performances.
