Nature Rx | Bringing Nature Indoors

Fall is fast approaching, and with it less opportunity to enjoy being outdoors. Join us for a talk on Bringing Nature Indoors! Join Summit Master Gardeners Denise Gibson and Mindy Costigan-McCartney to learn the benefits of connecting with nature over the fall and winter months, ways to bring nature into your home, and how to set up your very own naturescape indoors. Displays of plants and natural materials along with a demonstration on bulb planting by the Master Gardeners will get you started. Each participant will receive a bulb to take home! All are welcome, so sign up today and encourage a friend to do the same. Registration is free. Event Details Parking/Directions: This event will take place in November Lodge at the Cuyahoga Valley Environmental Education Center (3675 Oak Hill Rd., Peninsula, OH 44264). Upon arrival, follow the signs to the main parking lot. Then follow the signs to walk to November Lodge. Limited mobility parking is available closer to the facility by following the drive left after entering campus. Cancellation Policy: In the case of severe weather (lightning, hail, heavy snow, storms, etc.) or unforeseen circumstances (staffing, park closures, etc.), we will cancel or postpone.
