PARKING: Street parking is available, with additional parking at 5th Ave Parking Garage around the corner 🎟️ GRAB YOUR SPOT EARLY BIRD — $20 Available until the week of the dance ADVANCE GROOVE — $25 Available during the week of dance DAY-OF GROOVE — $30 Available on the day of the event KIDS - $5 (under 18 yo) 🌀 THE DANCEGIVING JOURNEY 12:00–12:15 PM | ARRIVE & VIBE Come in, get comfortable, meet your fellow dancers, and feel the excitement building! 12:15–12:25 PM | OPENING CIRCLE We’ll gather, breathe, and officially open our Dancegiving playground. 12:25–12:40 PM | 🌿 AWAKEN & CONNECT WITH LAURA BARON We’ll bounce, sway, breathe, play, and wake up every sleepy corner of the body! Through fun partner exercises, we’ll take turns leading, following, and having entire conversations through movement—no words required. Come ready for curiosity, laughter, and the beautiful awkwardness of trying something new together! 12:40–1:40 PM | 🔥 ECSTATIC DANCE WITH DJ ISHA This is where we turn it UP! DJ Isha will take us on a genre-blending musical adventure through organic house, Afro rhythms, world beats, deep grooves, unexpected twists, and soulful soundscapes. Stretch. Shake. Stomp. Spin. Crawl. Leap. Melt into the floor. Dance like nobody is watching—or like everybody is cheering you on! There are no wrong moves here. Your body is the choreography. 1:40–1:55 PM | 💫 WITNESS & RECEIVE WITH LAURA BARON After the big release, we’ll soften into a powerful practice of authentic connection. In pairs, you’ll have space to move, breathe, pause, or simply be still while being fully witnessed by another person. Nothing to prove. Nothing to perform. Just the rare and beautiful experience of being seen exactly as you are. We’ll finish with grounding breath and gratitude, letting all that delicious dance-floor energy settle into the body. 1:55–2:00 PM | ❤️ CLOSING CIRCLE One final moment together before we float, bounce, or groove back into the rest of our day! 💛 OUR DANCE-FLOOR VIBE • Phones Away: Let yourself fully arrive • Words Off: Let your body do the talking • Sober & Clear: Feel every beat naturally • Consent Is Sexy: Look for eye contact and a clear “yes” • Boundaries Are Beautiful: Crossed arms or turning away means “no” • Barefoot Freedom: Bare feet encouraged; clean indoor shoes welcome • Come As You Are: Big moves, tiny moves, stillness, silliness—it all belongs! • 🌈 MEET YOUR GUIDES Isha Justyna Kostek is a movement facilitator, DJ, certified OSHO Active Meditation facilitator, sound healer trained in India, and founder of abunDANCE. With a background in theater, trauma-informed healing, and equine-assisted work, Isha creates spaces that are playful, soulful, grounded, and deliciously human. Since 2024, she has been leading Ecstatic Dance Oneonta and Ecstatic Dance Enjoy Troy, creating musical journeys where depth meets delight and freedom takes over the dance floor. When she isn’t DJing or dancing barefoot, she can usually be found with horses, listening closely to what the body and the moment are asking for. Laura Baron is an energetic and grounded movement guide with over a decade of experience in Vinyasa, Kundalini, AcroYoga, and aerial arts. She also holds a doctorate in behavioral neuroscience, bringing a fascinating understanding of how movement, rhythm, breath, and play affect our nervous systems and emotional lives. Laura is known for creating warm, welcoming spaces where people can loosen up, connect, laugh, and discover new ways of moving together. 🌱 GOOD TO KNOW • Sober event • Kid-friendly • All ages and experience levels welcome • Two left feet enthusiastically accepted!
