Election Season is Almost here: Increase Voter Turnout Event

Come and write just 10 postcards to increase voter turnout! Citizens heading to the polls soon are motivated to vote due to their concerns about the rising price of gas, food, and health care. Many are also worried about the climate crisis due to the increasing number of wildfires, droughts, and floods this year. This class seeks to address this crisis by motivating environmentally concerned voters using strategies created by The Environmental Voter Project." The Environmental Voter Project is a nonpartisan organization that identifies registered voters who are very concerned about climate but do not regularly vote. Phone calls, canvassing, digital ads and/or postcards target these voters with research based messages to get them to the ballot box. In this class, we will be writing postcards to voters in the state of Texas. Come and write just 10 postcards to get out the vote!
