The Long Quiet: A Sound Journey for Stillness & Rest

Step away from the noise & expectations of December for a sound journey devoted to deep rest, stillness, and the quiet invitation of winter December can be loud. There are plans to make. Places to be. Traditions to uphold. Things to finish before the year ends. Meanwhile, outside, the natural world is doing something very different. It is becoming quiet. The Long Quiet is an invitation to follow that quieter rhythm for one evening. Settle into a comfortable chair as crystal singing bowls, gongs, harp, chimes, and other resonant instruments fill the space around you. There is nothing to accomplish here. No expectation to clear your mind or arrive feeling peaceful. Just rest. Listen. Let yourself stop for a while. This sound journey offers a place to step outside December's urgency and experience the spaciousness that becomes possible when we stop filling every moment. Winter does not ask the world to keep producing. Perhaps, for an evening, you don't have to either. No meditation or sound bath experience is needed. Come as you are and give yourself permission to enter the quiet.
