The World Of Butterflies: Facts, Stats, Challenges and How We Can Help

We’ll explore incredible facts, alarming statistics, and the current threats facing butterfly populations (and other pollinators) today. Join Kenna for a keynote presentation all about butterflies. Guests will receive a handout featuring a list of native host plants and the butterflies and moths they support in NY as well as a list of recommendations for local nurseries and online seed distributors. Kenna will also provide everyone with a free packet of organically grown swamp milkweed from her garden. Milkweed is a beloved nectar plant of many insects and the host plant for the Monarch butterfly. Meet the facillitator; Kenna Stronach is the founder of Root To Root Community.
